Additions must not only address the needs of the homeowner but must be
sympathetic with the form and style of the existing dwelling.
Before. Dutch colonial with storage space above the two car garage.
After. Designed by Lynch Remodeling, the storage area over the
garage was converted into an in-law suite with a sitting room, two walk-in
closets, a large bathroom suite and a balcony overlooking the pool.

The interior appearance
and space planning just as important if not more as the exterior appearance. The exterior roof line was designed with reverse hips that
created an exciting interior ceiling and gave the room more volume.
The French doors add charm and elegance and lead to the balcony that looks over
the pool and gardens.

The
transititon between the existing and the new was through an existing bedroom.
The transition required custom raised panels and fluted casing to accommodate
the double pocket doors. This millwork was made on site by
Lynch
Remodeling.

And nothing says that the bathroom
can't be attractive and roomy.
